I’ve seen the car two days in a row now. Older, boxy economy car without hubcaps parked out at the end of the marina parking lot. The first sign it’s inhabited is the row of personal items lining the ledge below the back window. It’s parked near the abandoned RV park, as if seeking shelter by the trees, in the shade. (more…)

We are under attack. We’ve repelled the rodents that moved into our house, but new assailants are trying a subterranean approach. Gophers, I believe, probably pocket gophers. (more…)
