We’ve been in the process of converting our front yard from thirsty grass to drought resistant plants. Our tiny patch in front is separated into three parcels by sidewalk and driveway, and here’s part of the section we’ve tackled so far. The reddish blossoms at top are called kangaroo paws.
The nasturtiums are going nuts in our raised bed. We ought to pick the flowers more often to spice up our salads. At far right is our margarite (in shadow) and a very happy rosebush in the upper right corner. We finally got the tomato plants in cages, and they’re pretty happy, so far. (The copper coil at lower left is for cooling beer when I brew.)
