We were watching TV when we heard the dog-snoring. This is fairly common here, but the tune was a bit unusual, so the missus and I both rousted ourselves and looked, finding our Edie girl sleeping with her head bonked right up against the couch, snout up in the air, snoring a new dog sleep song.
“I can’t believe she can sleep with her head like that.”
“Get the camera.”
Of course, as I did she woke up and moved. But she fell back asleep again. This picture is most of the pose — just imagine her chin up in the air rather than down, and you’ve got it. Plus contented dog snoring sounds.
Really, what it means is this: all is right in the dog nodding world.
